With the close-up lens it is possible to further decrease the distance to the screen/object. The solution was tested with Acer K135i projector and 37mm close-up lens of factor ... 1x, 2x, 4x, 10x. Measured distance to screen and screen size with/without macro lens can be found in attached image/table.
