380mm Long Twin Jet Drive Work Boat

Hi All EDIT - 23/01/2018 - I have now also included a 3d printable basic hull. There is no jet drive cut out so you would need to print and cut out your own drive to fit. With the jet drive creator's permission I may also include a hull with the main body of the drive already incorporated. Based on this fantastic Jet Drive design, I decided to build a little twin jet drive jet boat based on two of these drives printed at 50% and powered by two 370 type brushed motors. http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1952400 This is very much a 'kit' and will require the builder to fabricate some parts, glue on sheeting or planking etc. I.e. it is an intermediate level kit. PLEASE SEE DXF FILES IN 'THING FILES' FOR THE LASER CUTTING FILES FOR THE HULL, DECKS AND WINDOW GLASS. Parts required will consist of: Wood- 3mm Laser plywood 0.8mm Laser plywood 2mm Square balsa or softwood stringers Plastic- 1.5mm Acrylic or similar sheet for windows 3d Printed parts- 2x the jet drive units liked above printed at 50% Windows (still to be finished) Door Cabin roof Adapter plates (2x - same file mirrored) to fill the gap between jet pump and hull Hardware- 2x 300 sized (I used 370) brushed motors or equiv brushless 2mm stainless steel shaft Suitable bushes for the jet pumps Piano wire for linkages Suitable Lipo cell (I used 2s 1300mah) RX, ESC and Servo A short video of the first test in the kids' pool! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GS-Wt-r6vhg https://youtu.be/2CsqiXyh5hQ
