Warning: The current version of this belt broke after just a day and a half of use. The limiting factor appears to be tensile strength. To address, I'm considering polycarbonate filament and/or even thicker extrusions.

Use the models that Cisco provides for his original Caterpillar Belt. Just print them at a different scale, with substantially different slicer settings, as outlined below. The result is a taller and stiffer belt which I hope will be suitable for supporting a holster. Belt height is 38mm (1½"), a sturdy size widely supported by holsters which still fits the belt loops of most pants.

Setup for Belt

This setup is suitable for nozzles from 0.35 to 0.85 mm.

Material: PETG

Spiral vase mode

Solid bottom layers: 0

External perimeter extrusion width: 0.96mm

XY size compensation: 0.36mm (to make my wider extrusions possible)

Layer height: 0.52mm or 80% of nozzle size, whichever is less

Scale:

X & Y axes: 98%

Z axis: 38mm

Setup for Buckle

This setup is suitable for nozzles from 0.25 to 1.0 mm.

Material: PETG

Perimeters: 2

Infill before perimeters

Layer height: 0.1mm

Combine infill every: 3 layers

Top fill pattern: Monotonic

Infill: 100%

Elephant-foot compensation: 0.2mm

Ironing: 12% flow, 0.3mm spacing

Scale: 126%

Rotation: 90 degrees clockwise (rear of buckle at rear of bed)

Seam position: Rear
