[ UPDATED VERSION THERE: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:182913 ] [NOTE: for the unity3D scene and sources, simply download "UNITY3D-Demo(With Sources).zip" here, in the "Thing files"] I have been working on gesture interaction with 3D cameras for over 10 years (at SoftKinetic). Thanks to the Oculus Rift, you can now manipulate 3D objects in a natural way with a consumer product! And that is very exciting! You can see this in action here, with the first experiment: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AlCjPC1n1nE&feature=youtu.be The 3D camera mount for the Oculus Rift (dev kit) fits the Creative Senz3D camera. And you can order one for just $149!http://click.intel.com/intelsdk/Creative_Interactive_Gesture_Camera_Developer_Kit-P2061.aspx I also attached a sample Unity scene (and sources) to get you started. Instructions Hardware: Force fit LeftArm.stl and RightArm.stl into OculousMainPart.stl You will need one standard camera screw (1/4-20) to attach the camera. You can print a few CableClip.stl to attach the camera cable to the Oculus cable. Each object has a flat face and can easily be printed without support or raft. On MakerWare, I use these settings: infill 33% number of shells: 4 layer height: 0.2mm Software: UNITY3D-Demo(With Sources).zip contains a build of what i?s seen in the video and the (Unity 3D) sources that you can modify You need to download and install iisu Free v3.6 (you will need to register first): http://www.softkinetic.com/fr-be/products/iisumiddleware.aspx If you want to edit the sources you need to install Unity 3D: http://unity3d.com/
