3D Catan Fog Hexes for Seafarers Expansion

I designed these border pieces to work with JAWong's 3D Catan Pieces (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:26979). In the seafarers expansion you're supposed to flip the cardboard hexes over to be the fog pieces, but that's a little harder if your hexes are 3 dimensional. To get around this I modified the existing water hex to be the fog hex. The bottom of the fog hexes have an outline of the resource type so you can flip it over and replace it with the discovered hex. I removed some material from the sides to make these parts easier to remove, especially if the border is snapped together. The top half of the part has been scaled down to make printing faster as well. For the 5-6 player seafarers expansion, you'll need: 12x Water 3x Sheep 3x Wood 2x Ore 2x Wheat 2x Brick 1x Gold I still need to look up the number for the 4 player version. Print Settings Printer Brand: Leapfrog Printer: Creatr Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .25 Infill: 20% Notes: I used ABS, but PLA should be fine as well Post-Printing Brush off any debris or ABS film Spray paint both sides with a black primer hand paint to desired look
