3D Catan Ocean Border with Snaps

3D Catan Ocean Border with Snaps

I designed these border pieces to work with JAWong's 3D Catan Pieces (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:26979). The parts are designed to have a little clearance in the dovetail so errors in one won't transfer to the next piece. If yours come out too tight, you may need to lower your flowrate multiplier or lightly sand the interfering faces. Since I planned to use this with the seafarers expansion where the port position varies a lot, I decided not to make the depression for the ports. I just place the port on top of the water. I may make this in future designs if requested. For the 5-6 player seafarers expansion you'll need 20 straight borders & 6 corner borders. Be sure to check my other designs for more Catan parts! Print Settings Printer Brand: Leapfrog Printer: Creatr Resolution: 0.25mm Notes: I had some problems with the parts warping when I removed them from the hot print bed, so I started to wait for the bed to fully cool before removing and this seemed to keep them flat. I made my parts with black ABS.
