3D Chess

It is clear that the chessboard is a metaphor of the battlefield, but the battlefield are not all flat, very often there are hills on which the opponents take sides and a valley in the middle is between them. So I thought it might be interesting to add the third dimension and to raise the height of the tiles, and it was therefore logical to give a medieval look to the various characters. I leave the evaluation to chess fans of how this aspect can be positive or disturbing. The chessboard is composed of two pieces, the black and the white printable in 3D separately and then simply pushed together I uploaded the STL models of the pieces in my shop "FCPRS" on Sculpteo.com: http://www.sculpteo.com/en/gallery/today/?search=fcpr Templates are ready to print, choose carefully the material parameters and plot scale. Unfortunately chessborad must be reduced by about 65% choosing the size in mm. For pieces instead, the scale is free compatiblye with the prices!!!
