It is a case specially designed for the Spacemouse wireless by 3DConnexion (the best joystick for CAD designers). I needed a impact resistant case for the joystick when I commute because the Spacemouse is heavy and can easily break if it falls. I also wanted a case that wouldn't touch the joystick handle. The case is in contact with the metal base only. There is a little cavity inside the case for the usb stick. I also use a small piece of velvet cloth to wrap the joystick inside the case for extra protection. I advise you to do the same. The case is easy to screw and unscrew thanks to the grip patterns and the big threads. The pictures above are renderings. Let me know what you think of it. Enjoy!
