3D Halloween Cookie Cutters

It's been almost a year, but I decided to make another set of themed 3D cookie cutters, similar to my 3D Christmas cookie cutters, http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:207406. This set includes a ghost, a pumpkin, a jack-o-lantern, a black cat, and a haunted house. They all worked great, except for the jack-o-lantern which ended up breaking during assembly. I modified the stl for that one to make it stronger and easier to go together. As a warning, there has been some concern over the food safety of 3D printed plastics. For all of these cookies, i cut the dough with a layer of plastic wrap between the cookies and the dough. It still worked, but there was a slight loss of detail. Instructions So in order to actually assemble these cookies, you need to select the right recipe. You need cookies that will maintain their shape when baking and that won't rise too much. For these cookies I used a different recipe that turned out great.http://www.cooks.com/rec/story/202/ When making the cookies roll the dough out to a little under .25 inches thick. When you assemble the cookies, you might want to cut the slots with a serrated knife like a steak knife or a paring knife to open then up a little bit. Just kind of shave down the edges so that the cookies fit together nicely. Also, most of the shapes can just slide together, but you might want to use some icing to hold them together if yours don't come out right.
