3D Hexagon

Extruded hexagons. Instructions Open up Inventor and create a 2D sketch. Press the rectangle tool so it will show you the other options. Press the polygon tool. I chose to make it have six sides but you could have as many or as little sides as you like. Extrude the hexagon and then press start 2D sketch again. Line another hexagon to the first one so it will match up the points but is slightly smaller. Finish the sketch and then extrude that one as well. This creates a hole. Do the same thing for the hexagons inside the first one but shift corners so they touch the walls of the one surrounding it. This could go on for infinitely many times if you just zoom in but it will not show up when you 3D print it with maker bot so I stopped at size hexagons but it all depends on how large you make the object.
