3D LabPrint Stearman PT-17 motor mount adapter
thingiverse
This lets you use a standard motor without having to flip the shaft on 3D LabPrint's PT-17. The original design fell apart on me the very first time I flew it, and I wasn't too excited about reprinting that part or trying to fix it. I prefer not reversing my motors because I often salvage parts from other planes, and all of mine use non-reversed motors. To make this work for you, you'll either need to carve out the nose as I did or, if you haven't printed the part yet, import the STL into your CAD software and do a boolean subtract with a cylinder to remove that area right off the bat. This saves you from wasting a ton of filament on support material. I'd definitely upload the modified part, but I'm not sure if that would break their licensing agreement. I strongly recommend printing in PETG or something even stronger than PLA. You'll need 16mm M3 bolts. Retighten those bolts after the first flight - mine worked loose.
