Lidars (LIgh Detection And Ranging) measure distances by illuminating the target with laser light and measuring the reflection with a sensor. When combined with a mechanical way to aim the beam, they can output 2D or 3D point clouds. This project is a fully 3D-printed 3D lidar with no moving electronics part. The firmware and software are released on Github.
