This design was created for week 6 of the Ultimaker design engine challenge with the challenge card; "Pathfinder!" — Create a 3D map that captures your path to work or school, but the object must be small enough to fit in your pocket. The parameter cards were; Parameter card #1 - Future & Parameter card #2 - Accessibility and modifier card #1 - Shell — Hollow out a part of your design. This week there was also a gameplay card of Blind eye — Ignore one of your chosen parameters. I chose to ignore the parameter card - Accessibility. This is a 3d map of my commute to school. It captures the path as well as the general elevation change and buildings. This map was created using a screen shot of the google maps directions of the path. There are real life elements added in that are not to scale but do depict what is located in the area. The parameter card #1 - future, was met by it being a map to my university that, in turn, is helping me map out my future career. The modifier card is met by the use of the shell command for the models outer structure.
