This model is based on an authentic trash can with real-world dimensions. It has been designed so that the top part can be opened. The model is suitable for use in Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), games, and other real-time apps, as well as standard rendering tasks. It was created using Blender software and thoroughly tested within Unreal Engine 4.19 . This trash bin consists of a large number of detailed faces, specifically 3,638 (each comprising only quadrilateral elements). A total of 3,842 vertices are present, rising to 7,823 when viewed in the UE4 environment. Real-world measurements of the model stand at approximately 39cm x 39cm x 94cm in length. All textures have a high-resolution 4096x4096 dimension and come in the form of jpg files. A metallic/metalness rendering workflow has been used throughout. Textures are provided for base color, metalness, roughness, normal map, and ambient occlusion. These texture assets can be easily accessed through the use of named parameters within the shader setup for Unreal Engine or directly in Blender software. Note: It is essential to treat textures as non-color data (specifically focusing on metallic and roughness), except base color. Doing so will help avoid any harsh reflections that might occur. Furthermore, it is recommended to uncheck the sRGB option within UE4's texture editor. Ultimately, visual presentation will largely be influenced by how your lighting system is implemented. High-resolution previews of this model were rendered in both Blender Cycles and Unreal Engine 4. Wireframe previews, however, were captured within Blender.
