"Tawamure of Inishie" marks a triumphant achievement for me as it garners Selected Works in top honors at the JJA2015, Japan's most revered jewelry contest. The 366-day CAD labor of love behind my Monkey series has finally reached a milestone worthy of celebration. Kagawa Prefecture, where I hail from and its famous olive-producing island of Shodoshima boast breathtaking landscapes and a whimsical quality that inspires creativity – in this case, the child monkey figure plays innocently with a vine-draped setting. This ongoing series continues to feature multiple poses of 3D Monkeys as we approach its climax. My goal is to bring humans closer to monkeys once again! And what's more, my design allows Quruli's tail to be transformed into a dainty pendant necklace when passed through the tail itself – it's simply delightful!
