Tawamure of Inishie it's my crowning achievement, having earned a spot as Selected Works at one of Japan's most esteemed jewelry contests, JJA2015 (Japan Jewellery Award 2015). I'm thrilled to share with you that Monkeys series - 366 days of intricate CAD work - is getting recognition. You can find my home in Kagawa, known for its bountiful olive groves on Shodoshima island, where even the simplest image conveys a carefree child at play, juxtaposed with the sophisticated world of adult 3D sculptures. This marks a milestone in our ongoing Monkeys series, redefining what it means to connect humans and animals. By delicately crafting my designs into pendants or tail adornments for necklaces, I'm bringing those whimsical monkeys one step closer to being indistinguishable from their human counterparts.
