"Symphony of Wonder" – it's an honor that my artwork has been chosen for the prestigious Japan Jewellery Award 2015, one of the most coveted awards in the jewelry world. My latest masterpiece from the Monkeys series, a life-like creation of CAD-designed animals that took 366 days to perfect, is finally unveiled. My inspiration stems from Shodoshima Island in Kagawa Prefecture, famous for its olive groves – it's here where children play freely with innocent expressions, reminding us of our own carefree nature. In my Monkeys series, various poses and gestures are woven together, telling a tale of human-like intelligence in primates. This fascination with our close relatives has been ongoing – they continue to inspire awe as we delve deeper into their social behavior. One peculiar example is when they effortlessly swing around necks using the long tails – turning them into stunning pendants that exude elegance and beauty.
