These are easy to print and assemble clevises for RC planes and other devices. They use a drop in nut to secure the push rod and for length adjustment. Available in 3 different sizes of push rods (M2 / M2.5 / M3) and two different widths of the head gap. Narrow = 2mm / Wide = 4mm Installation: Just drop a standard nut into the slot and screw in your push rod from the back. The clevis connects via M2 screw to the control horn. It’s recommended to use self locking nuts or a dip of thread locker to secure them from getting loose. The holes for the push rods are slightly smaller than the nominal size of the rods in order to compensate printer tolerances. If you find they are too tight, either screw in a screw with the same diameter as you push rod, to pre cut a thread, or widen them with a drill. There shall be a tight fit, don’t drill too large. Printer settings: You can use filament of your choice. PLA works fine for me, but PETG, ABS, ASA or Nylon will work as well. You can even print them from resin with a SLA printer. Ensure good layer adhesion, slightly higher than normal printing temperatures are recommended. I use 225°C for PLA. 0.4 layer width and 0.15 layer hight 100% infill 3 perimeters The area touching the build plate is quite small. Use a brim or tabs (see pictures) if you find the parts coming off the bed during print.
