I used the JOINvirus.step file by FredSWUG to create 3D individual component models that can be printed on a single extruder machine. Link below to the original work. The three pieces of the virus were printed at 50% scale making the spherical core 3" diameter. The base was modeled to fit such that it was printed at 100% scale. The virus component model edits were done in Solidworks. The base was modeled from scratch in FreeCAD.Coronavirus - COVID-19 - Request
