So I really needed a pair of Iron sights for my gun, but the previous sights I made ( the folding sights at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:603954) are really a pain in the ass to get to print properly, mainly because when I designed them, I didn't have a printer... 0 % experience in 3D printing... Soo I designed everything without any tolerances. I have not abandon the folding sights, but it just takes a while to fix the files I made. They are designed to work with other commercial iron and reddot sights at a default height of 35 mm from the top of the rails. As the title says, they are fixed sights, aka nonadjustable. Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Custom printer Supports: No Resolution: 0.25 mm Infill: 20% Archimededean Notes: These are the settings that I used to make the models shown in the pictures. You don't have to use those settings. The main thing is that you don't need supports. They are made to be a "snug fit", so no screws or bolts are needed, I printed the file at 98% scale to get a really good fit. So keep in mind then you download them they might be too loose at first. Print them half way in 100% scale, and see if they need to be bigger or smaller, and then scale them.
