Made this Camera Mount for my small Canon Digital Camera on my 3D Printer which allows me to open the SD Card & Battery Cover while the Camera is still on the Tripod :-) I made this mount to fit on a Smith-Victor R8 Tripod :-) The steel nuts press into the 3D-printed parts and the 3D Printing .STL files are included in this upload :-) Also the complete SolidWorks Assembly has been uploaded :-) CHEERS!! :-) https://ctmprojectsblog.wordpress.com/2016/06/20/3d-printed-tripod-camera-mount/
