<p>This is a mount that converts any SG90 servo to an Electronic screwdriver.&nbsp;</p><p>Approximate budget: (5-15 USD)</p><p>The mount is made to work with Jackly brand screwdriver sets. The holder must look like the one below:</p><figure class="image image_resized" style="width:32.78%;"><img src="https://media.printables.com/media/prints/213543/rich_content/041c95f6-5c90-4d2c-84f6-fd40674b4bbc/screwdriver.jpg#%7B%22uuid%22%3A%22a2c050e5-6217-41e4-8c09-535adf4bd2a3%22%2C%22w%22%3A739%2C%22h%22%3A1407%7D"></figure><p>The screwdriver is press fit into the mount. The friction will hold it in place.&nbsp;</p><p>The servo must be modified by bypassing the circuit by connecting the connector directly to the motor. This will enable 360 rotation on a servo. Also, you can modify a pre-made 360* servo or purchase a 180* servo and modify a gear to make it 360*. (See image 1 for motor mod)</p><figure class="image"><img src="https://media.printables.com/media/prints/213543/rich_content/75bd43f3-102c-49cc-b70b-a201c353bdf8/motor-mount.jpg#%7B%22uuid%22%3A%22b7f9d8b1-c5a3-4ec7-af12-98d4ccb55c37%22%2C%22w%22%3A1420%2C%22h%22%3A738%7D"></figure><p><i>image 1</i></p><p><i>For converting a plastic 180 to a 360 servo, open it to reveal the gears, on the top most gear you can find a small nudge that prevent it from rotating 360, take a flush cutter and break that nudge. This will make it rotate 360 degrees freely.</i></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>The mount must be attached to the servo with the help of the included arms. The arm can be attached with the help of two small mobile/computer screws. And upon screwing it should look like the one below:</p><figure class="image image_resized" style="width:25.09%;"><img src="https://media.printables.com/media/prints/213543/rich_content/492b164d-a506-426a-b169-c7eb74d1e087/3.jpg#%7B%22uuid%22%3A%220749dd24-8ea9-46b1-a1b3-c61b1b6672a4%22%2C%22w%22%3A739%2C%22h%22%3A1600%7D"></figure><p>Then the servo must be connected to a DPDT switch in conjunction with a TP4056 and a 18650 battery. The DPDT switch will help in direction control.&nbsp;</p><p>Connect like the switch as shown in scheme 1 and teh full circuit as shown in scheme 2</p><figure class="image"><img src="https://media.printables.com/media/prints/213543/rich_content/80b19260-15dd-4efa-943e-046b2b0f6efe/scheme-2.jpg#%7B%22uuid%22%3A%22da3c9bdb-3c33-4064-a725-55d185774883%22%2C%22w%22%3A618%2C%22h%22%3A858%7D"></figure><p><i>scheme 1</i></p><figure class="image"><img src="https://media.printables.com/media/prints/213543/rich_content/44a96524-391c-49f6-bc43-4093dbb09e7c/scheme1.jpg#%7B%22uuid%22%3A%227bf2e425-6658-4393-8bed-5bdd1bf6ed17%22%2C%22w%22%3A626%2C%22h%22%3A810%7D"></figure><p><i>scheme 2</i></p><p>In the end fit all parts into a PVC pipe and end cap. Pipe must be of internal diameter of 2.3cm and external diameter of 3.1cm. I would recommend that you press fit and choose before actually purchasing.</p><p>In the end the servo is hot-glued into the PVC pipe.&nbsp;</p><p>Also, a female DC jack must be attached to the input pins of the TP4056 for easy charging with a 5V adaptor.&nbsp;</p><p>With one charge the device can run for multiple days if used once or twice a day.</p><p>In the end the device must look like the one shown below.</p><p><img src="https://media.printables.com/media/prints/213543/rich_content/e3805396-3d66-4a7c-8574-61c96b1769ce/2.jpg#%7B%22uuid%22%3A%22bad3c709-da2e-4dd8-a702-835638938110%22%2C%22w%22%3A736%2C%22h%22%3A924%7D">&nbsp;</p><p>I would also recommend that you use a metal geared SG90 for more torque and strength. This will prevent gear wear.&nbsp;</p><p>Feel free to share if you end up replicating this. &nbsp;</p>
