An individual fish scale and a patch of 162 complete scales arranged in a 9 x 18 formation which measures approx 93.. x 94mm. Each scale is 9mm wide x 9.25 mm tall x 1.14mm high deep and can be further scaled to suit your needs in your slicer. For best results print with the display surface against the build surface and use a "concentric" pattern on the first layer (in Cura 3.2.1 - your slicer may have other options). Toule netting (commonly used in dressmaking and haberdashery) is used as the backing. Print two layers at 0.2mm layer height, pause the printer, stretch the netting (not too tightly) over the prited pattern using small steel clips ot my purpose made toule grippers (included) then resume printing and prepare to be amazed.
