This will make it easier to service the gearbox. You can add grease with a syringe without disassembling the gearbox. The holes are not through, if you want to use them you need to drill them all the way with a 2.5mm drill bit. To prevent the grease from leaking out, the holes must be closed with the M3x3-5 screw.
