Because I didn't have a half dozen #10 hex screws available, and a "purer' (not purest) approach would be to have all printed parts, I made these pins that mostly fit flush with the curve ends, and look a lot nicer. Printed in with 3 layers seems to have sufficient strength. The angles help the pins to hold the top pice together pretty well. The .STL includes a small support, since my version of Maker ware would print supports for such a small area, and 2 of 3 attempted printes failed without the 2mm support column that's easily snapped off
