This leaf light only consists of two parts: the base, "Leaf-Light_v3", and the diffuser cover, "Leaf-Diffuser_v3". This iteration of the design is intended for LED's to face towards the user (see images for my pattern). Notice: This was a very lackluster assembly process! Many steps were figured out midway through design and build and there is a lot of room for improvement! LOTS of soldering was involved! This page may or may not be updated with design updates! Printing: Parts were printed using a Prusa i3 MK3S. Depending on the filament and detail settings, the circular locking features within the model may not be reliable. User may need to supplement with double sided tape or glue. Base - Infill is up to user preference. 20% gyroid infill with PrusaSlicer 0.15 mm QUALITY setting was used in the pictured assembly. The base will barely fit the print bed (210mm x 210mm). User will need to slice it to print on the bed diagonally and remove any brim. Support will need to be added to ensure wire stem is sturdy. Diffuser/Cover - Infill is up to user preference. 20% gyroid infill with PrusaSlicer 0.15 mm QUALITY setting was used. I intended to used 100% infill but forgot to change it before slicing. Diffuser was printed with the flat side facing down. Support was added to help the fileted edges keep their shape. Lights and Power: *Soldering, crimp tools, and heat shrink were necessary in my assembly* I used some cheap Amazon stuff to supply power to the lights. For 12V LED strips, each leaf will consume about 4.5W of power max. There are alternate approaches one can take to build these leaves, but here is a list of what I used below: LED Strips: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07JP5375R/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Power Supply (out of stock, but power will depend on how many of the leaves you plan on making): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FD2VG7F/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Wire Sleeves (they come in a couple different colors): https://www.mcmaster.com/9284K611/ https://www.mcmaster.com/9284K613/ Connectors: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07Q2X899Y/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 *Optional Dimmer Control https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008GY6WM2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Hanging Hardware: There are two holes on the base that are large enough for #6 fasteners if the user would like to use wall anchors. Otherwise thumb takes work fine!
