This is a focus mount that can be used on a telescope. It originates from a project I did with a school where we made an affordable telescope using parts from a DIY store and 3D printed parts. This focuser uses a large screw thread to provide the motion to move the eyepiece into focus, it needs to be rotated on it's axis, your printer will determine how accurate this is in terms of alignment. Like I said this was for a basic demonstration of a low-cost telescope. Print settings wise, 0.2mm resolution worked for me in PLA. The parts were printed separately and assembled with the large scale screw thread and M3 cap head screws. The adapter is modelled to suit a tune of 110mm diameter (standard UK soil pipe). The mount can be glued to a tube. Post printing it is necessary to clean the screw threads up with a file and work them together and apart again to make them run smoothly, a file and fine grade sandpaper are your friends here. The focuser will accept a standard 1.25" eyepiece, again some sanding may be required to make it fit smoothly.
