This is a filter to clean the air of harmful vapors and sub-micron particles in your printer enclosure. This design is based on the filter by tomasrey88 (http://www.3dprintfilemarket.com). But I found the original hard to work with. It required tape to hold to filter body together, could only be mounted in one position, and getting the fan sandwiched between the filter and enclosure was a pretty iffy process. I added mounting flanges with through holes for mounting, and a cavity your 40mm fan just slides into. Then I turned the original hopper into a box that holds the filter media together neatly.Instructions:-The filter body comes in 2 parts. Glue them together to form the hopper.-Drill a 1-1.4" diameter hole in your enclosure with a hole saw, and a 1/4" hole for the power wires next to it. Then drill (4) ~1/4" holes for the flanges and (4) #10 machine screws to mount it. -for the filter material... paint masks work, but I use a 1.6"x1.6" cotton gun cleaning patch. .270-.38 caliber size. You can get a bag of 100 for 3 bucks. Put that on the inside top of the hopper. Then fill the hopper with activated-carbon aquarium charcoal. -The hopper slides into to fan body, and you're ready to go!
