3D Printer Electronics Enclosure

3D Printer Electronics Enclosure

I took this excellent design and turned it on its head because I needed an enclosure to hold all my 3D Printer parts in something more monolithic and still able to hold an ATX Power Supply. I am very happy with the results. The minor changes allow me to stack as many of these modules as I want. The system will hold a C3D Remix board as well as a custom ATX power breakout and breakout board that allows me to run a ribbon cable from the printer to this box rather than the mass of wires that we usually see. In these pictures you can see that I am test fitting a 7" touchscreen which I will mate either to a RasPi Octoprint rig or a stick PC. Ultimately, all the printer's controller components would be in this box. The power supply is a 450W, but you can put any standard ATX type supply in here.
