3D Printer Hot End LED

3D Printer Hot End LED

I have a dark-ish apartment so bed leveling was a challenge for me on the anterior portion of my bed due to the Ender 5's vision blocking bar. While I have met this challenge partially by getting an auto-bed-leveler, Z offset is now something that I must contend with. I created a device that can attach directly and reversibly to the chassis of my printer's Y axis and provide illumination provided by an LED supplied by AAA batteries. The battery cover screws on using two M2 screws that are at least 10 mm long. There are two switches on the device: one for power, the other for choosing the circuit that provides greater illumination. If anyone has any questions regarding this build, do not hesitate to ask on the comments section. Be aware that my design requires one to build a circuit. Thus one needs to know how to solder, not electrocute yourself, etc. Do not build the circuit without help if you have no experience as despite the lower voltages, the current is somewhat high and one could still potentially be injured. Build the circuit at your own risk.
