3D Scanned Game board Pieces

3D Scanned Game board Pieces

Hello There! These are some models that I had to make for a Design Tech project at school. I made the models with a mix of 3D Scanning with an xbox Kinect and 3D Modelling in Maya. The idea of my project is that with 3d printing, you can make your own custom models and characters to use in board games, adding more customisation and putting an end to the arguments of who wants to be what piece in a game (since everyone can make their own, or better yet, themselves). There are 3 models that I have made for this project, One is just a plain 3d scanned human on a base, just as a proof of concept. The other two show how you can add things to the models (e.g. Armour) or give the model objects to hold (e.g. Sword, Magic Staff) Any likes, downloads and/or comments are greatly appreciated as they all have to appear in my final folio! :) Instructions I recommend printing with supports on for the Armoured and Staff Model, but the Neutral Model should print fine without supports.
