thingiverse

This thing is included in a larger project of 3D scanner. This is a stand for a laser. Inspired by a swing the purpose is to hold the laser and be able to swipe an object with the laser line. It is designed to host a motor at the bottom that will make the laser tilt up and down. Here you can find the different parts to build up this "laser swing" ;) Enjoy ! Edit : Added pictures of the laser module mounted and the pulley from Droftarts made for my stepper motor. Instructions Print the different parts : 2 Bottom parts 2 Top parts 4 Struts 2 Jaws The jaws are designed to hold the laser (12mm diameter), using two M3 bolt of 16mm. The different parts will need a quick little cleaning to fit together nicely. You could glue them together for more stability, but it's not necessary. The whole set rise the laser up to 15cm. An alternative is to use only the top parts to set the laser at 8cm. Using only the bottom the height will be 7cm...
