The design appears straightforward, yet unravelling its intricacies took some effort. Uncovering the interlocking slots and determining the precise number of components required was a challenge in itself. Once assembled, however, the trivet emerges as a sturdy piece capable of supporting a substantial pot or pan. This build was undertaken on a desktop CNC machine provided by Stepcraft, utilizing 6 mm birch plywood and a 1.2 mm spiral-toothed flute. An alternative tool for rebuilding this design could be a laser cutter. For more engaging trivet designs, visit https://www.zenziwerken.de/en/Household-Items/Trivets.
