Dummy radial engine for the 3DLabprint 1/12 Corsair. It fits to the Turnigy 3530 motor. The motor is fixed to a base plate with M3 screws. The base plate is fixed to the front fuselage part (original motor mount) by M3 screws. The Radial Engine is fixed to the base plate also by M3 screws. The electric motor is cooled through the dummy engine, there are gaps all around for that purpose. I printed the motor mount from high-temp ABS (UltraZ), but in case using e.g. PLA, annealing might be necessary - however as the motor is not directly mounted to the plastic, might work without annealing too. (But in case of annealing, be aware of the shrinkage of the component!) The dummy engine is printed from PLA+. Notes: - the plane was not yet tested in the air, so the motor mount was not proved yet in real life conditions - pulling the motor (adjusting the angle) can be done by putting spacers below the motor mount at the screws - so the motor is pulled together with the dummy engine, and stays concentric with it
