3DPN's Spool Holder Challenge: A Solution Joel, aka "3DPN," issued a challenge to create an efficient spool holder. To meet this challenge, I designed a spool holder that reduces friction and prevents filament tangles. The Spool Holder's Components The spool holder itself is constructed from three Ø1.75mm raw nylon filaments snapped into position or glued together. This innovative design reduces the friction generated when turning the spool. Filament Guide System To prevent the filament from escaping over the edge of the spool, I utilized a Ø4mm Teflon tube as a filament guide for Ø1.75mm filament.
