3DPonics O-ring Bottle Stand Insert

This is an insert for the 3DPonics Bottle Stand. It was created for a better seal with the bottle. Requirements: - O-ring (mine is 21.0 mm inner diameter, 2.5 mm thick). I think anything with a ~1-inch outer diameter would work as long as it's not too thick. Instructions: 1. Print the bottle stand and the insert. 1. Wet the o-ring. Slide it on the bottom of the insert such that the bottom of the o-ring is around 1 mm (5 layers, probably, for those of you with eagle eyes) above the bottom (flat) side. 3. Gently insert the assembly into the bottle stand. I find that it's easiest to put my index finger through the assembly and lower one side at a time into the opening so it doesn't catch too much on the threads. 4. Screw in the bottle **CAREFULLY**. The bottle stand is very easy to crack, since the layers are perpendicular to the force when tightening. I like to tighten until I feel the o-ring, then give the smallest additional turn (1-3 degrees maybe), then test for leaks. Continue to slowly tighten until no more leakage occurs. 5. When replacing the bottle in the future, the assembly should remain in place. Just wet the o-ring slightly each time the bottle is reattached.
