3DR Iris Snap On Landing Gear

This is a light weight landing gear for a 3DR Iris drone, snaps directly to the arms. I uploaded two versions, one for FDM and other for SLS, The one is separately, which contains feet, feet mirror and clip are for FDM, Just make sure the flat part in (feet) are straight down to the print bed, and the clip you should print as a column, for perfect strength, I recommend, carbon fiber filament from Matterhackers, but you can print with both ABS and PLA. For connection between feet and clip I used 3mm screw, with thread lock on it. and then just snap on your Iris quadcopter arms. As close to the body you snap the landing gear, less stress to the copter arm, so I recommend to put it closer to it. The clip or same idea could be useful to snap multiples accessories, retractable landing gears, cameras, sensors, lights, props guard, etc. Happy print and flight.
