3DRAG or Vellemann K8200 - new Y-stepper motor mount with inetrgated microswitch
thingiverse
I searched far and wide for a top-notch Y-axis steppermotor mount, but all I found were solutions for the X-axis or Z-axis instead. I replaced the original steppermotor mount with an even stronger one that flexes less, complete with a microswitch holder designed specifically for the Y-axis. Instructions: To print this part at its best, use a moderate infill setting of around 20-25%. This will result in a lightweight and ultra-strong structure. I made mine using PLA filament, which has proven sufficient for the task so far. You might need some additional M3 screws on hand; fortunately, you can reuse the M4s if needed. Feel free to print this Y-steppermotor mount without supports or rafts – just be sure to add a brim with ABS material (if using) to prevent unwanted warping. Enjoy!
