This simple mount alignes the sensor tip to the pivot line of the extruder, thus making the sensor less sensitive to bends or misalignment of the extruder carriage, as with the mount suggested by Geeetech that places the 3Dtouch in front of the extruder carriage. I sometimes had to readjust the offset setting in eeprom, now I get consistent measurements every time. Please note that you need to extend the arm that actuates the X home sensor, otherwise the carriage will jam on homing.
