This is a replacement for the larger(right side) washer that slots into the center console vent housing and both allows the vent to be mounted into and swivel within the housing. 2 of these are required, one for each vent. (as well as the smaller version for the left side) The original parts get brittle and will most likely disintegrate when you remove the vents for some maintenance/repair tasks. (removal of climate control, etc)
