This only filters the air that you're exhaling.\*\*\*</b> 3M half mask respirators are great at filtering the air you're breathing in, but they don't filter the air that you exhale. They don't protect those around you if you're a carrier of coronavirus. This is a filter media holder for the exhalation port of a 3M 7500 mask. Depending on the thickness of your filter media, this can be secured by friction fit only (some slight scaling up would probably improve the friction fit). However, the mask has some convenient points to loop a rubber band or string, so I added connection points to allow securing it with rubber bands. A version ("no ears") without those connection points is also provided if you want to secure it with just friction.
