Sikko) adapters have been uploaded. 7500 version coming soon. If your adapter feels loose on the mask, try the "generic" version - it is meant to fit masks that have a looser adapter/thinner gasket than the original 3M ones.**UPDATE 05-04-2020**: v4 introduces model markings on the adapter - based on the feedback we've found different 3M versions & clones have slightly different adapter dimension. Please use proper version to ensure a tight fit. * DAR filter slot is now compliant with ISO 5356-1:2015 * Other adapter versions will be uploaded once verified (hopefully today)**UPDATE 03-04-2020**: v3 is a new revised version that introduces: support-free printing, side designation (R & L) and tighter fit for DAR filter according to ISO guidelinesThis is a revision of a project that has been circulating on the internet for the last few days and it aims to solve some of the issues present in the original design:1. Rectangular, asymmetric design for easier handling when coupling/decoupling with the mask2. Shape of the adapter offers instant visual feedback of the correct placement - former cylindrical version offers little to none, which can result in improper coupling and accidental disconnections3. The filter has been directed towards the back and the sides, which offers several advantages: a. Air inlet has been directed away from the patient side, not towards it b. Upwards air inlet position is much closer to the intended use as described by the manufacturer's product specification c. Re-positioning of the filter allows for greater freedom of movement when a face shield is used4. Wider flange offers extra seal around the adapter-mask interface, which was missing from the original design5. Filter piece is inserted in a way that even accidental removal of the cap from filter's luer-lock port does not expose the user to unfiltered airSecond filter can be replaced with a simple cap (will be soon added to the files) to reduce filter use - breathing is comfortable with even one filter.[PRINTING INSTRUCTION]0.2 mm layer height, 3 walls, PLA or PETG, no supports; Use random Z-seam position for improved tightness. Make sure your flow rate is properly calibrated so that there are no under-extrusions in the outer perimeters.Please note that the mask itself does not provide any filtration of the exhaled air! It is only intended to protect healthy individuals, eg. healthcare workersThis design would benefit from proper and rigorous testing to determine the quality of the seal, and maximum holding pressure - please contact me if you're interested in helping out.WARNING! This adapter might not be suitable for use with generic, off-brand clones of the mask (eg. Sikko) - please test the adapter-mask fit and make sure that it fits snugly enough to not get disengaged accidentally. For those masks try using the "Generic-6200" version of the adapter (clearly marked with 'G' on the print)This design is offered as a last resort, off-label use intended only for dire situations. Łatwiejsze i pewniejsze przykręcenie adaptera do maski - bardziej 'kanciasta' konstrukcja umożliwia pewny chwyt przy zakładaniu i zdejmowaniu adaptera, a jego kształt sprawia że od razu widać czy adapter jest przykręcony porządnie czy nie (czego nie sposób spostrzec w okrągłej wersji, a to może się skończyć niezamierzonym rozłączeniem układu)2. Szeroki kołnierz wykorzystuje dodatkowe uszczelnienie na masce, którego poprzednia wersja nie wykorzystywała (staramy się iść z zgodnie z budową dedykowanych filtrów do modeli 3M serii 6000, 7000 oraz FF-400)3. Filtr nie przeszkadza w noszeniu przyłbicy dzięki przesunięciu filtrów na bok i w tył4. Wlot powietrza do filtra jest skierowany w kierunku tyłu głowy, a więc od pacjenta, zamiast do pacjenta5. Wlot powietrza jest skierowany bliżej pozycji horyzontalnej ku górze - co jest bliższe zaleceniom producenta filtrów DAR6. Filtr ułożony jest w sposób zgodny ze specyfikacją - port typu luer-lock znajduje się po zewnętrznej stronie filtra, dzięki czemu nawet w przypadku odkręcenia/poluzowania korka nadal jesteśmy chronieni przez filtrParametry do wydruku: 0.2 mm warstwa, min. 3 obrysy, wypełnienie >20%, podpory nie są potrzebne do wydruku! Użyj opcji losowej pozycji szwu (random Z-seam) aby zwiększyć szczelność adaptera.Adapter został zaprojektowany tylko i wyłącznie na sytuacje kryzysowe, i jest produktem jednorazowym. Jego szczelność i skuteczność opiera się na założeniach projektowych oraz doświadczeniu w stosowaniu podobnych konstrukcji.
