Looking for a way to way to filter the air in your 3D printer enclosure? This adapter allows you to mount a 3M respirator air filter to a blower fan. Mount it inside your cabinet for a quick and easy filtration system. Designed with considerable inspiration from [Easy to Print Air Purifier -- for inside your enclosure](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3331276). Note: There is a lot of debate on the efficacy of filtering air this way. I found this [All3DP filtration article](https://all3dp.com/2/3d-printer-filter-air-filter-3d-printer-hepa-filter/) helpful. Please do a little reading and figure out what your comfort level is regarding personal safety. I recommend using a flexible seal between the filter and the adapter. The foam squishies well when twisting the filter into place and still provides a good seal between the surfaces. I had a role of 1/4" foam tape from another project that I used. The attached scad file allows you to set the distance between the mounting tabs and the seal surface for different seal materials. Printing: .2mm layer height with supports. ABS or other heat resistant filament recommended.
