This adapter is an attempt to retrofit a 3M respirator with an oxygen tubing adapter to create a makeshift PAPR (powered air purifying respirator). By connecting some bleed-in oxygen while wearing the respirator under a hood, the wearer avoids asphyxiation and generates some positive pressure to further protect from contamination. This is a work in progress, and I made this in Tinkercad using an existing female bayonet adapter for 3M respirators and a connector for oxygen tubing.
