Edit 1: After a bit of thought, I decided to make different (angle shaped) steering extensions that can actually adjust toe and/or ackermann. Each has a latin numeral on its side, the offset of the turnbuckle holes from the straight line in mm. Edit 2: Before installing, you can help the holes come to the designed width by drilling the ones to the steering with a 3mm drill and the one for the ball end with a 2.5mm drill. You can do this by hand. It will make installing easier. Edit 3: I created a base to hold all the different steering extensions. It is 16mm wide, so if you want double (or triple, like in the photo) columns, copy the base at 16mm offset. I decided to convert my Sakura D4 AWD to RWD. I ordered the steering extensions, but until they arrive, I designed and printed these replacements. You'll need a couple of M3X8 or M3X6 screws for each side. The only other thing needed for the conversion is to remove the universal shafts and install the servo turnbuckles opposite. I printed the steering extensions with ABS, they're too small to warp even without enclosure. I don't have any reason to believe they won't work with other materials, too. If you take care not to bend them when installing/servicing, they are more than capable to stand the load from the servo without damage. They work like a charm! Later: My Boom Racing adjustable steering assembly arrived, but I think these extensions will still be handy for modifications.
