3rd Hand Light

3rd Hand Light

Helping hands, 3rd hand... I'm not sure what you want to call it, but I have a few of these and would like shed some light on my work. Add a few ebay leds, some resistors, wire and solder. This is a WIP because I have a few ideas on how to better attach the lid and make the wiring contacts, but no time to implement and test, yet. Instructions Print base with the bevel up. Print the cap with the aligning pegs up. Drop in the LEDs. The center gap I use for cathode and the lower gap for the anode. The anodes are soldered to current-limiting resistors and the resistors are put in the holding gaps and soldered to a solid copper wire in the top gap. The cathodes are soldered directly to a solid copper wire in the middle gap. This wire spans the resistors across the middle. Mount, power and view!
