I designed this fidget spinner toy to reduce the number of bearings needed compared to similar designs. I used a cheaper 22mm (ABEC 5)double shielded bearing at the center. I removed the shields with a pick (be careful) and cleaned it out with brake cleaner and compressed air. This increased the spin time from 10-20 seconds to over a minute. I chose to install a star button through the center bearing. The added standoff distance helps keep your hands clear when spinning and allows for placing the spinner on a flat surface and really get it moving.I used 10mm and 8mm diameter ball bearings for the outside weights.
