4-8 Way Switchable Sanwa Joystick Restrictor Plate

This is a 4-8 way switchable arcade joystick restrictor plate for Sanwa style arcade sticks. This currently allows various arcade games to be played which require either a 4 or 8-way joystick on the same machine by rotating the restrictor disk inside the chassis. This model prints in four parts and is designed to allow the user to switch between 4 and 8-way mode from the top of the cabinet. To assemble, the restrictor disk is inserted into the chassis. Small magnets can then be inserted and glued into the chassis. Ensure that the direction of polarity is the same for both magnets. The magnetic slot can then be inserted into the slot on the restrictor disk, and a third magnet can be glued into it. The third magnet should be attracted to both magnets in the chassis once glued in place. This assembly should now be able to snap back and forth between 4 and 8-way mode. This can be installed on the joystick as normal. The turn key can then be snapped on to the shaft of the joystick just under the retention washer but on top of the spring cover. Some glue may be required to secure it in place. Once all parts are assembled, the restrictor plate mode can be changed by pulling up on the top of the joystick shaft and rotating it until the restrictor snaps into the desired mode. All parts were printed at .2mm layer height with the exception of the turn key which was printed at .15mm.
