Parts are only 1mm thick; recommend using a flexible filament; however, at 1mm all filaments are more or less flexible. Use those templates to mark the pipe for an exact cut. Dimensions represent the outside diameter. Only for female templates - parent (penetration in to the pipe) - make the FIRST MARK using the template, then offset this mark; (in to inside); using the thickness of the pipe - to obtain the CUT MARK! The Female Template (parent pipe) is supplied for the situations where the male pipe (branch) cant be used for marking the penetration The "tips" of the Male Templates (branch) are sharp - computer generated; fillet (round) those as you feel is suited - based on the pipe size and thickness. This apply only for intersections to same diameter pipes. Keep in mind that usually a tee fitting should be used for branch connections, unless the nominal branch pipe diameter is less than 1/2 of the nominal "parent” pipe diameter. If a connection, other than a tee, is used for the branch, is required that the branch connection must be reinforced. A pipe coupling is used if the branch size is 2 in or less and the branch is less than 1/4 of the diameter of the main pipe; or an integrally reinforced branch fitting (weld-o-let, thread-o-let, or socket-o-let) is used. Those templates are “poor man” alternative's, use it as a last resort or in situations where class requirements are not applying! Always follow the standards and requirements for the class you are building the pipes for! All parts are check for naked edges or errors - therefore all are going to be printable! If the design is good or if the parts are going to fit... that's another story! Design to print without support! :) By Costa
