4 inch hose adapter to 5 inch AC window vent

<p><strong>How this project started:</strong></p><p>After researching VOCs I'm still more comfortable exhausting them out of the house when dealing with things like ABS. &nbsp;I do have a really good air filter with a carbon filter, plus HEPA/carbon scrubbers inside the enclosure. &nbsp;I needed an adapter for the AC window vent I purchased to adapter to the 4 inch hose I'm using for venting fumes out the room.</p><p><strong>Parts List:</strong>&nbsp;</p><p>4 inch flexible hose:</p><ul><li><a href="https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07WRDTX4C?psc=1&amp;ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details">https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07WRDTX4C?psc=1&amp;ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details</a></li><li>Or any of your choosing.</li></ul><p>Portable AC Window Vent Kit:</p><ul><li><a href="https://www.amazon.com/dp/B092HX7MMX?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&amp;th=1">Amazon.com: SIKADEER Universal Window Seal Kit for Portable Air Conditioner of Exhaust Hose 5.1 Inch Diameter with Coupler Adjustable AC Vent Kit PVC Seal for Sliding Window : Tools &amp; Home Improvement</a></li><li>Or any similar with a 5 inch round threaded adapter.</li></ul><p><strong>Print Settings:</strong></p><ul><li>No supports.</li><li>Default PrusaSlicer settings for PLA 0.20mm quality should work. &nbsp;If the inner threads are not staying attached to the model use variable layer height or the 0.15mm preset.</li></ul><p><strong>Assembly (use the cover picture for reference):</strong></p><ol><li>Thread the adapter into the AC Window Vent. &nbsp;The threads on them are not great and can take some fiddling to get it started. &nbsp;This one is threaded counterclockwise.</li><li>Expand a section of the hose and thread that into the inner adapter.</li></ol><p>My enclosure exhaust design is here: <a href="https://www.printables.com/model/204392-nextgen-enclosure-exhaust-fan-adapter">NextGen Enclosure Exhaust Fan Adapter by AKA | Download free STL model | Printables.com</a></p>
